SAUNA & BIOSAUNA
The sauna of the wellbeing centre Gaarten SPA is a type of bath of dry heat at a temperature around 80° in a room where the benefits from the warmth are used to relax and to purify the body. The BIOSAUNA or sanarium is a pleasant regenerating sauna. It is a soft sauna with a modest humidity in the air (about 50%) and at the temperature of 55°. The wellbeing of the body and of the soul is also helped by the use of perfumed essence. It is also suitable to approach the Finnish sauna, the classic appointment with the steam bath! The word "sauna" comes from the Finnish language and it means, more or less, "wooden room". In fact, the walls are built with wooden axles to reduce the humidity in the air. That's the reason why you can well bear the high temperature (around 95°).
ICE FALL
The ice fall of the wellbeing centre Gaarten SPA is a basic feature of the hydrotherapy treatments and it's also a complement to the sauna and the Turkish bath treatments. It's essential to give energy to your body, it is also very useful to reactivate the circulation and the metabolism. Usually, it is associated with the Kneipp track.
